Scott Jennings Causes CNN Panelist To Go On Tangent By Mentioning Biden, ‘Morning Joe’ Meetings With ‘Hitler’

Republican strategist Scott Jennings told a professor on a CNN panel Monday night, referring to Trump’s meeting with President Joe Biden and MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski. It sparked a debate about how President-elect Donald Trump is a “totalitarian.”

Trump met with Biden and his “Morning Joe” co-hosts in the early morning hours of Nov. 6, less than two weeks after securing the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency. During a CNN panel discussion, Jennings responded to the Democratic strategist’s remarks. “I never expected Hitler to get so many requests to meet. First from Joe Biden, now from Micah and Joe, it’s amazing that a literal Hitler is getting so many requests for meetings. “That’s true,” Jennings told City University of New York journalism professor Jeff Jarvis. “Professor, what it tells me is all the rhetoric that came before the election from the left, from the Democratic Party, from the White House, from Kamala Harris and all these other guys, all the rhetoric, fascism, Hitler. , the Nazi rallies, it was all a bunch of BS. They didn’t mean it that way and if I were in the Democratic mob’s shoes, I would look at all the leaders and look at them for six weeks before the election. Were you just being mean to me this whole time?”

Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz, escalated their attacks on Trump in the days leading up to the election, with Harris calling out the former president in a big speech days later on Oct. 30. He was dedicated to attacking him as a “despicable tyrant.” Called President Trump a “fascist” during a CNN town hall. waltz compared From Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden to a 1939 rally held at the venue by groups sympathetic to Nazi Germany.

“I just reread Hannah Arendt’s “The Origins of Totalitarianism,” and I don’t know how relevant it is today. “Yes,” Jarvis replied. “That’s fascism. His generals called him a fascist. Joe Scarborough called him a fascist, and now the fascists are in charge and it’s journalism’s job to report it as such. Instead of standing back and saying, “That’s it, we’ve lost,” and we’re just going to let fascism happen.” (Click here to watch the Daily Caller documentary “Cleaning Up Kamala”)

“This article actually says more about them than it does about their beliefs, because I believe they just don’t care because they believe in their careers more.” ” interjected Roginski. ”
