Former President Donald Trump visited the U.S. Capitol on Thursday for the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), where he met with Sens. Katie Britt (R-Montgomery), Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), among others.

“President Trump brought extraordinary energy, excitement and enthusiasm this morning,” House Speaker Mike Johnson said, also noting the high level of fundraising since the Trump verdict was handed down. “We're feeling good.”
“It was a really positive meeting. He and I spoke briefly and we had a chance to shake hands a couple of times,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell told reporters after the meeting. “It was an entirely positive meeting. I can't think of anything that I would say was negative.”
