‘She Can Go To Hell!’: JD Vance Blasts Kamala Harris Amid Attacks For Trump Attendance At Ceremony For Fallen Troops

Republican Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio denounced Vice President Kamala Harris in a campaign speech on Wednesday in an attack on former President Donald Trump for attending a ceremony honoring 13 U.S. military members who were killed in action.

President Trump on Monday attended a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery for soldiers killed in the Aug. 26, 2021, bombing in Kabul during the withdrawal from Afghanistan. video Videos of the visit were posted on social media and drew criticism from liberal media for politicizing the event, and Vance, speaking at a Pennsylvania rally, accused Harris of “not doing her job” before the deadly attack. “What veterans care about more is that three years ago, 13 brave, innocent Americans died. They died because Kamala Harris refused to do her job. And there was never an investigation, never a firing,” said Vance, a former Marine who served in Iraq. “Mistakes are made sometimes. That's the nature of government, that's the nature of the military. But to have 13 Americans lose their lives and not fire a single one is disgraceful.”

“Kamala Harris is a disgrace,” Vance continued. “We're telling a story about 13 brave, innocent Americans who lost their lives, and Kamala Harris fell asleep at the wheel, didn't even investigate what happened, and now she's trying to yell at Donald Trump because he showed up. I hope she rots in hell.”

Families of fallen service members have repeatedly criticized the Biden administration for its withdrawal from Afghanistan. They have also criticized President Joe Biden's behavior when fallen soldiers arrived at Dover Air Force Base and his false claim that no U.S. troops had died under his administration.

Neither Harris nor Biden attended Monday's memorial service, but both released statements on the matter.
