A shocking video emerged in India on Tuesday showing an office cleaner falling to his death from the third floor after goofing around with friends.
Vani Melotta, editor of India Today, shared CCTV footage on X (formerly Twitter) showing the fatal incident unfolding.
In the video, a woman is seen sitting on the edge of an indoor balcony. A moment later, a man is seen putting his arms around her neck and leaning her back. The two then nearly fall off the edge. The man manages to grab hold of the edge as the woman falls.
A bystander can be seen peering over the edge after the incident occurs, and the man and a man who nearly fell next to the woman can be seen running down the stairs before other people run over and peer over the edge.
The victim has been identified as Gudiya Devi, an office cleaner at Grove Estate in Dombivli East, about 18 miles from Mumbai. according to New York Post.
According to the media, Devi is married and has two children.

The Manapada police responded to the incident and are investigating, the outlet reported. Citing local police, News 9 reported that the incident has been ruled an accident and is still under investigation.

In May, security camera footage in Los Angeles showed a blind man falling four stories down an elevator shaft at a low-income housing hotel. according to Video shared by FOX11 shows a visually impaired man falling down an empty shaft as a man nearby rushes to the elevator.
The man is expected to survive the fall, the media reported.
