“Millions of families have had someone you know and love get caught up in the opioid crisis. It wasn’t about Hunter. I mean, even though he was on crack cocaine. Whatever it is, my sister actually got legally caught up in the opioid crisis because her doctor told her it didn’t lead to addiction,” Kelly said.
“[She] Never really righting the ship again, she passed away two years ago at the age of 58. I’m so angry because she didn’t have this advantage. She had no ties to the president, and neither my standing in public life nor my financial resources saved her,” Kelly added. “She didn’t have the necessary connections because she was basically involved in petty crime fighting, like shoplifting. What I mean is, it wasn’t like a major bank robbery, but it was If it goes on record, you feel depressed.”

“Are we supposed to feel sorry for these two guys now? Well, not at all. The New York Times doesn’t get it,” Kelly said. “Shut up! No one in this country who is sitting in prison, or whose child is about to be sent to prison for gun charges, tax evasion, drug charges, gives a shit about your problems. ”
In Biden’s statement explaining why he chose to pardon Hunter, the president said that any “reasonable” person would have understood Hunter’s case because he was “chosen” because he is the president’s son. He argued that he would conclude that.
“Efforts have been made to break Hunter, who has been sober for five and a half years, even in the face of relentless attacks and selective prosecution. In trying to break Hunter, they tried to break me too—and There is no reason to believe it will stop here. Enough is enough,” Biden wrote.
