Yuma, Arizona (KYMA, KECY) – Sunday 71st Annual Yuma County FairThe gates opened at noon as people picked up their tickets and headed inside the fairgrounds to ride the Ferris wheel, Zipper, and other rides.
There was also a livestock show where you could see pigs, goats and cows.
Not only that, there were also live performances near Guido’s Stage and Main Stage. For one performer, he used other work as inspiration for the opening act.
“When I’m not doing this, I’m a real waiter,” said Funny Waiter Show performer John Park. “I work at a Buddhist restaurant. It’s called Karma. There’s no menu.” You just get what you deserve,” he said.
Weaving humor into the opening act and using the stage name Victor Diamond, Park kept the audience entertained.
Not only that, but there was also a Wild West show where the audience watched horse tricks.
There were even live animals in the theater building. Live animals include a military macaw, a kangaroo and two lemurs.
