Some voters in Maricopa County to receive new voter ID cards

Maricopa County, Arizona — Some voters in Maricopa County will receive new voter ID cards.

Maricopa County Registrar Stephen Richer made the announcement on Tuesday.

Richer said in a news release that 260,000 voters in Maricopa County will receive the cards because of the updated boundaries between the Board of Supervisors’ five districts and Surprise City.

“The new ID cards look exactly like regular cards, but they contain a note that marks the change in boundaries,” said Richer.

Richer invited voters to visit Be Ballot Ready. Vote To confirm registration information.

The new card should arrive by next week.
