Spectrum Healthcare, working with community partners, is making great strides to improve access to health care for the people of Yavapai County.
With a mission statement of “Compassionate Care. For the Mind. For the Body. For All of You,” Spectrum Healthcare is dedicated to living this principle.
Spectrum has served Yavapai County for 59 years and currently provides integrated behavioral and primary care across the state. In 2024, Spectrum Healthcare will introduce a Mobile Health Unit to provide services directly to communities in need.
As part of the Healthcare Anywhere model, the mobile unit makes weekly visits to various partner facilities, including the Camp Verde Library, Verde Valley Homeless Coalition, Yavapai County Jail and Granite Creek Park.
This initiative is aimed at improving access to health care for underserved populations. The mobile unit is equipped to provide Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) to individuals with substance use disorders as well as provide comprehensive integrated health care services. Spectrum Healthcare is committed to providing comprehensive health care when and where it is needed.
Lauren Lauder, vice CEO and Arizona Market President for Spectrum Healthcare, emphasized the importance of community collaboration in this effort. “We are pioneering a model of care that meets the complex needs of rural residents,” said Lauder. “Our Mobile Medical Unit with integrated healthcare services demonstrates our unwavering commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to those who need it most.”
