ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith dismantled the idea of ”view” that President Donald Trump did not win the “duty” in the 2024 election, and “view” Joy Behar’s proposal.
Behar suggested that Trump won the popularity vote at around 1%, and that he didn’t win the “duty” as Republicans have a small majority in the House and Senate. The co-host noted that Trump’s popularity vote victory was “the smallest ever” and that his victory was barely a landslide.
“What kind of mission is this really?” Behar asked Smith.
Smith claimed that Trump has actually won all seven swing states and has had mandate since he made a massive invasion with racial minorities and blue-collar workers, making him the first Republican candidate in 20 years.
“Well, that’s a mission and I’m going to explain why,” Smith said. “And while I don’t mind the question, let me be very clear, I’m not a Trump supporter. I’m a true and fact–and this is the fact. The man has gained all swing states and has increased his favourable turnout in terms of black, Latino and young voters. He has increased his number in that respect since 2020. 89% of the county has moved to the right. That’s an obligation.”
“We can sit there and play around everything we want,” Smith continued. “In 2020, Trump didn’t win the vote at the Election College, not the popularity vote. In fact, Republicans have not won the popularity vote since 2004 if they remember correctly. Smith argued that Trump’s victory was a result of Americans voting against the Democratic agenda and that if they want to defeat the president, the party needs to find a new message.
Public polls have found that Trump both former President Joe Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris have important leads in the economy and immigration.
Biden dropped out of the race on July 21, and Democrats staged a coup against his candidacy over concerns about mental health and ability to serve a second term. Concerns about his cognitive status came after his disastrous debate performance against Trump on June 27th.
The former president then ran in favor of Harris, but she ended up doing so. Losing The popularity poll and all seven swings heading towards Trump. The president also made massive invasions with black, Latino and blue-collar workers, primarily due to the economy and immigration.
Trump became the first Republican candidate to win a Hispanic man in the presidential election, earning 55% support on NBC News within that voter block Departure Vote. Harris received only 52% support in the exit vote, which slowed down among all Hispanics, with President Joe Biden winning 61% in 2020. According to To Politico.
