‘That’s Undeniable’: Joe Rogan Claps Back At Vice Co-Founder Claiming Illegal Immigrants Can’t Vote

Popular podcast host Joe Rogan criticized Democrats on Wednesday after his guest, Vice Media co-founder Shane Smith, denied illegal immigrants the right to vote.

Republicans have repeatedly criticized Democrats’ motives in pushing for more illegal immigrants into the U.S. as the Biden-Harris administration hits record highs in the past three years. On “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Smith and Rogan discussed the border crisis, with the host criticizing the “strange” rates of illegal immigration in battleground states.

“The bottom line is a lot of people are being brought into this country and transferred to battleground states,” Logan said. “That’s true, that’s undeniable. The percentage of illegal immigrants who move to battleground states that are in battleground states is just off the charts. It’s crazy, it’s a weird number that makes me think it’s a strategy. It seems like-“

“But why? Because they can’t vote,” Smith said. “That means you’ll be able to vote 10 years from now, 20 years from now.”

Logan pushed back, arguing that illegal immigrants “of course” can vote and pointing out the lack of voter ID requirements in Democratic-run states like California.

“Well, first of all, you don’t have ID voting. Okay, right? This is what they’ve been pushing for in California and they’ve been pushing for it in a lot of places,” Logan said. Ta. “The only reason you don’t have an ID is so people who shouldn’t vote can vote. That’s the only reason. Just like we ask for ID for everything else, when you board a plane.”

While Smith interjected to express support for voter ID, Logan went on to say that the only “logical” reason to oppose voter ID laws is “people who probably shouldn’t vote.” He pointed out that it is important to allow people to vote. “But listen, the only reason to push it without ID is because it’s being pushed by Democrats, and there’s only one reason it makes logical sense. Probably. We want to get people who shouldn’t vote to vote so we can get extra votes. That’s all that makes sense,” Logan added.

“So when you have someone like Nancy Pelosi openly talking about giving amnesty to people who are already here, you now have voters,” Logan said. “You brought voters in swing states to this country and you offered them a great life. And Democrats got them there. Especially if Democrats continue to provide them with housing and money. You’re loyal to the Democratic Party, but why would you vote against it? Why would you vote for a bunch of people who want to be deported? They’re talking about mass deportation.”

A Sept. 18 Scripps News/Ipsos poll found that 54% of voters support mass deportations of illegal immigrants, including 86% of Republicans, 58% of independents, and Democrats. It was 25% of the members. However, that same month, 158 House Democrats voted against a resolution that would have barred noncitizens convicted of sex crimes or domestic violence from entering the United States and made them subject to deportation.

In early September, several Republican-led states, including Alabama, Virginia, Texas, and Ohio, identified and then removed as many as 17,000 noncitizens from their state voter rolls.
