The trailer for “The Electric State,” starring Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt, was released on Thursday, leaving moviegoers looking forward to more.
This sci-fi action comedy follows Brown’s character as he embarks on a thrilling quest to find his brother, who is believed to be dead. She is joined by a charismatic castaway, played by Pratt, and a mysterious but benevolent robot, seemingly related to her brother, as they journey through the post-apocalyptic American West.
The film is based on Simon Stollenhag’s dystopian novel of the same name.
Brown’s character, who narrates the trailer, describes this dystopian world as a failed uprising of robots, leaving robots in dire straits and severing human connections.
“Right now, we all have something in common. After the rebellion, we all lost something,” Brown’s character said. “Robots lost their freedom. Humans lost their connection to each other. And I lost everyone I loved. That’s what I thought.”
