Fox News host Jesse Watters denied new indictments against former President Donald Trump on “The Five” Tuesday.

Watters downplayed the significance of January 6, claiming the event was exaggerated.

“It’s January 6th and I wouldn’t mind speaking on Jessica’s behalf,” Watters declared, referring to co-host Jessica Tarloff. (Related: Donald Trump indicted for third time)

“You should never do that,” Tarlov replied jokingly.

“I speak for the rest of the country who are taking it seriously. Not everyone believes January 6th is Hiroshima Day. Not everyone believes it. said Watters.

Watters went on to claim that most people he’s interacted with don’t care anymore or have never heard of January 6th.

“We talk to people on the street all the time. said Watters.

“Ordinary Americans on Main Street don’t make a fuss about where the papers went. They really don’t care! It doesn’t affect them,” he added.

“If this is political, then this is like a political war crime. It’s like you don’t just drop one atomic bomb, drop 15 dozen, Jessica, enough,” Watters continued.

The Fox News host also issued a warning to liberals, suggesting that former President Donald Trump could take action against the Biden family if he wins the 2024 election.

“What if you caused Donald Trump’s re-election and he got elected there?” Watters asked.

“You think he won’t go after the Bidens? He might go after Dr. Jill at this point after you rummaged through Melania’s underwear drawer and turned his life upside down.” And you guys started it,” Watters said.

Mr Trump indicted On Tuesday, he was indicted for the third time on charges of attempted interference in the 2020 election and alleged involvement in the January 6th election. The indictment was issued by U.S. Attorney Jack Smith, the same prosecutor who led the Trump investigation into allegations of mishandling classified documents.
