Former President Donald Trump has added former Democratic congresswomen Tulsi Gabbard and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who recently endorsed his presidential bid, to his transition team.
“As President Trump's broad coalition of supporters and allies grows across party lines, I am proud that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard have joined the Trump/Vance transition team, and I look forward to hearing their powerful voices on the team as we work to restore American greatness,” Brian Hughes, a senior adviser to Trump, said in a statement obtained by The Daily Caller.
Kennedy, who was running as an independent, suspended her campaign on Friday and endorsed Trump, days after Gabbard, who is reportedly helping Trump prepare for the debates, also endorsed Trump, saying Monday that she believes Trump is the best person to lead us away from war. “He keeps us in mind when he makes decisions, and we saw that not only by not starting any new wars during his term as president, but by taking actions to mitigate and prevent war,” Gabbard said.
The former congresswoman compared Trump's record on foreign conflicts to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, arguing that their administrations have brought the country closer to war. She added that she is “confident” they will “do the job to pull us back from the brink of war.”

Kennedy First said Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson said he has been in discussions about being asked to work with President Trump's transition team.
“I'm going to work hard to get him elected,” Kennedy told Carlson, “and I'm working with the campaign. We're working together on policy issues. I've been asked to join the transition team and help select the person who's going to run the government.”

Trump's transition team also includes his sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, former Small Business Administration administrator Linda McMahon, businessman Howard Lutnick and Republican senator from Ohio and vice presidential nominee J.D. A source close to Trump told the Daily Caller that Kennedy “will definitely be campaigning and doing media work” ahead of the election.
