President Donald Trump’s administration is reportedly cutting 80,000 jobs from the Veterans Affairs Bureau (VA) through a “active” restructuring, according to a memo obtained by the Associated Press on Wednesday.
Virginia Chief of Staff Christopher Silleck reportedly said the department’s top staff was intended to return to staffing levels in 2019 to 400,000 employees. According to In a note. This move comes as the Trump administration appears to cut excess spending and waste from all federal officials, led by billionaires and Trump ally Elon Musk, along with the efficiency of the new government that took x to several federal initiatives and departments.
