“There is concern that the government may try to move Abrego Garcia quickly over the weekend,” Cooper said.
Sinis said the Trump administration had no “immediate plan” to eliminate Abrego Garcia.

Maryland debate
In Maryland, Abrego Garcia’s lawyers said in their complaints that he would not be deported again.
“The claim does not ask this court to award Abrego Garcia’s custody status in the Tennessee criminal case, as the Tennessee District Court will resolve it,” they wrote.
“The claim does not attempt to change any of the terms of release set by the Tennessee District Court or interfere in a criminal case in Tennessee. The move calls for this to be ensured by returning to the district (other than travelling to Tennessee if necessary) when Abrego Garcia is released from criminal custody.”
