President-elect Donald Trump announced Thursday that his 2024 campaign director, Susie Wiles, will become his administration’s chief of staff.
Wiles, who along with Chis Lacivita led Trump’s return to the White House. roughly Her disciplined and professional activities toward 2024 were praised. Wiles, who will lead Trump’s second administration, will be the first woman to be appointed White House chief of staff.
“Susie Wiles helped me achieve one of the greatest political victories in American history and was critical to the success of my 2016 and 2020 campaigns,” President Trump said in a statement Thursday. Wiles is the first choice announced by President Trump since his landslide victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in the White House race Wednesday morning. The president-elect credited his campaign manager for the success of his victory speech, even trying to get Wiles on stage.
“We call her Ice Baby,” President Trump laughed. “Susie likes to be behind the scenes. She’s not in the background.”
