Trump Does The Right Thing By Going Behind Israel’s Back

The Trump administration is currently in direct discussion with Hamas about the release of American hostages in Gaza. Even if Israel is engraved, that’s good.

For now, four American hostages He is reportedly deadone of the hostages, Edan Alexander of Tenafree, New Jersey, is believed to be alive. The Trump administration consulted with Israel about possible direct consultations in Doha recently, but Israel did not learn about them directly from the US government. According to To axios. Naturally, the Israeli government has been peeked out a bit that they have not received their approval.

“During consultations with the US, Israel has expressed its opinion on the issue of in-person meetings with Hamas,” the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.

The talks held by the US President’s envoy Adam Berer on the hostage issue are unprecedented. Although not other previous administrations, particularly the Biden administration, Israel has never negotiated directly with Hamas or engaged with terrorist organizations without sitting at the table. White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt said at a press conference Wednesday that the talks were part of President Donald Trump’s “honest efforts to do what’s right for Americans.” (Related: Trump cheats on a poison that could destroy his Magazine agenda)

And that should be true. Consultations may be unprecedented, but this is also America’s first diplomacy. America is directly interested in liberating Edan Alexander. We need to prioritize releasing him (and ideally others). When American lives are at stake, we don’t have to postpone to Israel or other “allies.”

It’s time to throw away the luggage of what is called the Allied. It’s a good start to that Trump is working for peace beyond means, not just what Israel says and says to the United States, but rather not just doing or saying it.
