Trump responds to weekend social media rumors regarding his death

WASHINGTON – On Tuesday, President Donald Trump addressed the media from the Oval Office, putting to rest recent fears regarding his health following rumors that emerged over the holiday weekend suggesting he might have passed away.

When asked about the online speculation—particularly regarding his so-called “end of misery”—Trump downplayed it, noting he hadn’t really been aware of the chatter. This came right after he announced the relocation of the US Space Command headquarters from Colorado to Alabama.

“Honestly, I didn’t see it,” Trump remarked. “I mean, I’ve heard some talk, and it’s a bit insane, but last week, I had a lot of meetings with newspapers. They all went well. Biden hasn’t done that for months.”

He acknowledged that while he’d caught wind of the death rumors, he hadn’t comprehended the extent of them. “I heard it. I got the report,” Trump stated. “Now, you all know I had an interview that lasted about an hour and a half. Everyone was involved. I did several shows and spoke at length.”

He further added, “I didn’t hear about that. That’s quite serious.” The speculation about Trump’s health first hit online on Friday but seemed to fade over the weekend.
