Trump Within Striking Distance Of Harris In State GOP Hasn’t Won Since New Millennium

Former President Donald Trump came within striking distance of Vice President Kamala Harris in New Hampshire, a state that Republicans have not claimed in a presidential race since 2000.

New Emerson College Polling/WHDH public opinion pollThe poll, conducted Oct. 21-23, found Harris trailing Trump by just 3 points, with support from 50% of likely voters, compared to 47% for Trump. It was shown that Third-party candidates received 2% and 1% of voters are undecided.

The narrow margin suggests the race is tighter than most expected in Democratic-leaning states, as Trump gains momentum in states where President Joe Biden carried him by more than 7 percentage points in 2020. This could have an impact on President Trump, who campaigned on the promise of job creation. According to the Emerson College Poll, this agenda is aimed squarely at dissatisfaction with inflation and rising costs. Addressing these economic concerns will be critical for Harris as she works to strengthen her New Hampshire footprint. As the election nears, Harris’ team has said it is concerned about her standing in key battleground states such as Michigan, where Arab American and Muslim communities could be crucial. It is being

With less than two weeks until Election Day, Mr. Trump holds a narrow 47% to 45% lead over Ms. Harris nationally, according to a Wall Street Journal poll released Thursday. The change follows an August poll in which Harris held the lead, but is now within the margin of error.
