Sen. Tommy Tuberville believes the Biden administration's policies could be leading the United States into another world war.

The senator was reacting to reports that he did not inform the White House that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was in the ICU. Austin was reportedly hospitalized on Monday, but the news was not made public until Friday.

Tuberville, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said: new york times A report detailing the expansion of Iran's nuclear program in recent weeks.

Pentagon spokesman Maj. Gen. Patrick Ryder told reporters Monday that “he remains focused on fulfilling his duties as Secretary of Defense to protect our country.”

Tuberville said the scandal is just one example of Biden not holding his own people accountable.
