Republicans in the House and Senate are aiming to pass the bill. Protection of women in Olympic and amateur sports lawIntroduced by Rep. Greg Steube (R-Fla.), it would ban biological males from participating in women's sports.
Sen. Tommy Tuberville, who introduced a companion bill in the Senate, rick and bubba show He spoke out about the issue and said he talks a lot about it with Caitlyn Jenner, and he wholeheartedly agrees with her.
“Today, Leah Thomas (a transgender swimmer from Pennsylvania) also said she wants to compete against women in the Olympics. Even Caitlyn Jenner said that this is just narcissism and that biological men are “It's stupid to compete with women who are women like that,” host Rick Burgess told Tuberville.
“You know, I talk to Caitlyn Jenner about once a month, and she's totally against this,” said Tuberville (R-Auburn). “She's totally against men playing in women's sports. She knows, so she understands. For most people in this country, this is not a rudimentary thing. .
“We introduced this bill because the Olympic Boxing Committee decided to allow men's and women's boxing at the Olympics, which means you can't make up for it. Someone's going to get hurt. And they won't listen to us, Sen. (Chuck) Schumer won't bring it to the floor. He's a clown.”
Tuberville went on to say that he even asked female Democratic senators what they thought, and that they certainly can't support men participating in women's sports.
“Sometimes I go to female Democratic senators and ask them, 'This is completely unbelievable, but don't you have daughters or granddaughters?' What are you going to vote for? ?' he said. 'And they can't give you a reason, that's the Democratic way.'
Tuberville said he plans to continue to be at the forefront of this issue as legislation develops.
