Two people were killed when a small plane crashed on a highway near Naples, Florida, on Friday afternoon, according to multiple reports.
The Bombardier Challenger 600 crashed onto Interstate 75, known as the Golden Gate Parkway, around 3:20 p.m., the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said. according to NBC 2. The plane was flying from Ohio to the Naples airport, the paper said.
According to the paper, there were five passengers and crew. The Collier County Sheriff's Office confirmed the two deaths. Three other people survived the crash, but it's unclear whether they were injured, NBC reported.

The plane was cleared to make an emergency landing, the paper said. The plane reportedly crashed less than a minute before landing on the Naples airport runway.

“The Federal Aviation Administration has closed a large portion of Interstate 75 in Collier County as it investigates an aircraft crash that resulted in two confirmed fatalities,” the sheriff's office said. I have written On facebook.
