Unearthed Video Shows Teachers Union President Ranting And Raving On Stage, Calling Students ‘Our Babies’

A recently unearthed video shows the president of the largest teachers’ union crying on stage during a keynote address, calling students “our babies.”

Becky Pringle delivered the keynote address at the National Education Association (NEA) delegates meeting on July 3 speech Addressed over 6,000 NEA delegates in Orlando, Florida. “We never give up,” cried Pringle. “We are the NEA and we will never break because we always do what we do to be worthy of our students. Thank you for all your hard work, let’s move on to the NEA, move on.”

In his keynote address, Pringle encouraged educators to turn obstacles into opportunities and difficulties into hope, before discussing the message they heard from the “Mayor of Seattle.”

At a meeting of NEA delegates, delegates approved new measures calling on the organization and its members to expedite transsexual procedures for LGBTQ youth. This new project item will run for one year and will update the NEA’s negotiating guidance on LGBTQ issues, including access to gender reassignment procedures for school personnel.
