Video Shows Aggressive Fan Slipping Past Security, Getting Handsy With Angelina Jolie In Rare Instance

Angelina Jolie was at the center of a massive security blunder at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday.

Video showed that an enthusiastic fan managed to slip past security during the festival premiere of “Without Blood,” a film written and directed by Jolie.

A video of the moment was shared on social media, showing the female fan sprinting through security guards. She was seen managing to slip between five or six guards who were close to Jolie. She quickly pressed herself against Jolie's body and wrapped her arms around her as the guards approached with looks of dismay.

The fan appears to have hit Jolie quite hard, causing her to momentarily lose her balance, and video shows her rocking back and forth from the sudden impact.

Jolie stopped to greet a throng of excited fans who were collecting memorabilia and items to get autographs from, and she remained smiling and graceful throughout the unexpected interaction with fans.

The bold woman pulled away from what appeared to be a hug to exchange words with Jolie, who remained calm and collected despite the obvious risk and scale of the security breach. According to the footage, Jolie's team quickly swung into action, but not before the fan made physical contact, embracing the star with both arms and exchanging words just centimetres from Jolie's face.

The video shows Jolie remaining calm and listening as security pulls the woman away. She can be heard asking the security guard to “be nice” as she turns away from her fans and continues to greet the crowd, who remain respectfully behind a pole. Jolie appeared unfazed by the incident and continued signing autographs. (Related article: Green Day concert canceled after security spotted suspicious drone)
