Video showed the moment a tourist helicopter crashed in Medellin, Colombia, on Tuesday, leaving it dangling between a building and a utility pole.

“Dad, we just got into a helicopter crash. We're trapped inside a building and at a very high altitude,” one of the passengers reportedly said in a video shot from inside the helicopter. “I'm going to get through this dad, I just want to say I love you. He got stuck in a telephone pole.”

The clip began with a helicopter rising from near a building and beginning to lose altitude as it spiraled through the air. The plane can be seen hitting a telephone pole and then a building. Video showed the helicopter's tail wedged between a swinging utility pole and a building.
Video then captured different angles and moments of what appeared to be emergency responders below the crash site and on the roof of a building next to the downed helicopter.

The Disaster Risk Management Agency of the City of Medellín tweeted its gratitude to the various ministries and agencies that participated in the rescue operations, including the police and the Ministry of Health.
