An Ohio family is facing months of evacuation after their French bulldog accidentally set their home on fire in August, Cleveland 19 News reported.
Homeowner Chris DiLuzio was at work when he received a warning call from the fire department. According to Cleveland 19 News. The incident was captured on video and shows Harvey jumping on a chair to grab a treat from the stove. In doing so, the dog accidentally set the oven on fire, which quickly spread throughout the kitchen.
Luckily, all the pets were saved and no one was harmed.
“If he wasn't on camera, it would have been a bit far-fetched and people wouldn't have really believed it,” DiLuzio said. “He was just fat and hungry.”

Fire officials told DiLuzio his home was on fire and one of his pets had been rescued, and his first concern was for his family, the outlet reported.
“Police said they only found one dog so panic and fear hit me all at once. My first thought was that my son, niece and mother-in-law were here,” the homeowner said.
But the damage to their home is extensive, and DiLuzio, his wife and six children face months of repair work before they can move back in. “We lost a lot of irreplaceable things that were not valuable,” DiLuzio said.
