In-vehicle camera video shows a good Samaritan saving an elderly couple on a scooter after a man attempted to rob a California grocery store.

“The man was trying to [snatch] After removing the gold chain from the victim, I got out of the car and ran over him,” Truong said. “I asked him, ‘What are you doing?’ He said he was going to give the guy the money and I was like “No, that’s not what I saw.” I just saw what you did. “
The suspect then fled in a white Nissan Armada SUV with Nevada license plates, the paper reported.
“He was trash because he was targeting the elderly who couldn’t protect themselves,” Truong said. ABC7. “They can hardly even walk. I didn’t think about my safety at the time. My thoughts were to help this poor man so that he and his wife could be safely home with their grandchildren.” It was just to let me go home.”
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LACSD) is investigating the incident.
According to KTLA, Truong said he hoped dashcam footage, including images of the suspect and the car before he fled the scene, would help the LACSD investigation.
