Video Shows Good Samaritan’s Dramatic Rescue Of Toddler Wandering On Roof

Dramatic video captured the moment a good Samaritan in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, rescued a toddler who had wandered onto a dangerous balcony on Tuesday morning, WJAR reported.

The video shows a good Samaritan, who asked to remain anonymous, climbing part of the building to reach the child and avoid tragedy. “I just kept thinking, 'Oh my God.' Oh my God. Woonsocket police said the mother allegedly left a window open in the child's room to cool the room. WJAR report. According to WJAR, the mother was woken up by her roommate who saw the child wandering on the roof.

Witnesses praised the selfless efforts of the good Samaritan who saved the child, the newspaper said.

“The baby was really pacing back and forth on the edge, and I could see the window was open. And the gentleman on the street was trying to say to the baby, 'Go home, go home, go home.' I don't know how he got up on the side of the building. “My son keeps saying he has to be Spider-Man,” Higgins said. “I think he's a hero. He wanted to go out and hug him.”

“Crazy, what if he wasn't there? You know, we don't think things like this are happening, but it happens all the time,” neighbor Michaela Carter said. I did.

The incident was reported to the Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth and Families, according to WJAR.

The newspaper said the mother declined to comment on the incident.
