A Chicago man was seen on video Thursday using a frying pan to defend his home from a burglar, ABC 7 reported.
A Chicago homeowner used a frying pan to thwart a burglary attempt. according to The incident was captured on the homeowner's security camera, according to ABC 7. Homeowner Jason Williams was on his way home from work around 3:30 p.m. when he got an alert from his home security system about a break-in.

“At this point it was fight or flight and I chose to fight,” Williams told ABC7. His decision to confront the intruder with a frying pan led to a foot chase through his yard until police arrived on the scene and arrested the suspect across the street.

“This could have ended differently and I'm glad it ended well,” Williams said. “My wife isn't happy with my decision… I probably wouldn't do it again, but it is what it is.”
According to ABC7, Chicago police confirmed that a suspect was in custody, but it's unclear if criminal charges have been filed.
