Similarly, Maria Claro, a 35-year-old writer, saw a red car pass her car. “I was speechless when I saw the car. Even after I stopped filming, the car kept driving in front of me,” Claro said, according to the outlet. “In the end, I didn't call the police.”
New York has seen a surge in wrong-way driving on its highways, resulting in numerous accidents. Prosecutors previously charged Sahara Dula after a video was released showing her allegedly intentionally hitting an NYPD officer with her car on the Upper East Side. according to NBC New York reported that the video showed Dula accelerating and violently striking an officer who was standing in the road.
