VOTER GUIDE: Yuma County Propositions

Proposition 423 Allow the City of Somerton to spend more than the state allows.
Proposition 424 Authorizes the City of Somerton to charge Southwest Gas Corporation a franchise fee.
Proposition 425 Increases monetary compensation for Yuma’s mayor and city council members.
Proposition 426 Allows Antelope Union High School District 50 to create a larger budget for maintenance and operations funded by tax dollars.
Proposition 427 Allows Mohawk Valley Elementary School District 17 to create a larger budget for maintenance and operations funded by tax dollars.
Proposition 428 $77 million worth of bonds to renovate Yuma Elementary School District 1
Proposition 429 Provides $14 million worth of bonds to renovate Somerton Elementary School District 11.
suggestion 430 Authorizes the City of San Luis to approve Southwest Gas Corporation as a natural gas supplier to the City.
Proposition 431 Gives the City of San Luis greater control over its annual budget. No funds will be allocated in excess of the budget unless a state of emergency is declared.
