VOTER GUIDE: Yuma County Propositions

Proposition 423Allow the City of Somerton to spend more than the state allows.
Proposition 424Authorizes the City of Somerton to charge Southwest Gas Corporation a franchise fee.
Proposition 425Increases monetary compensation for Yuma’s mayor and city council members.
Proposition 426Allows Antelope Union High School District 50 to create a larger budget for maintenance and operations funded by tax dollars.
Proposition 427Allows Mohawk Valley Elementary School District 17 to create a larger budget for maintenance and operations funded by tax dollars.
Proposition 428$77 million worth of bonds to renovate Yuma Elementary School District 1
Proposition 429Provides $14 million worth of bonds to renovate Somerton Elementary School District 11.
suggestion 430Authorizes the City of San Luis to approve Southwest Gas Corporation as a natural gas supplier to the City.
Proposition 431Gives the City of San Luis greater control over its annual budget. No funds will be allocated in excess of the budget unless a state of emergency is declared.
