‘Wangs And Caucuses’: Megyn Kelly Calls Out Nikki Haley For Refusing To Say Whether Men Can Become Women, Video Shows

Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly on Monday criticized Republican candidate Nikki Haley for refusing to say whether a man can become a woman.

Kelly, along with commentator Dave Rubin, responded to Hailey's avoidance of answering the “most basic” biological question on an episode of “The Megyn Kelly Show.”

Kelly played a soundbite of Hailey's answer to the question, “Can a man become a woman?”she did it received Sunday at a virtual Iowa City Hall.

“A lot has been said about all these roles and all these issues. I strongly believe that no one under the age of 18 should be allowed to undergo any gender reassignment surgery.” Haley said. “We, kids today, can't get tattoos until we're 18. We shouldn't have our bodies permanently altered until we're 18. And that includes puberty blockers.” It includes all kinds of hormones that do this. After the age of 18, we want people to be able to live the life they want. ”

“That's evasion,” Kelly said in the video, after playing an audio clip of Haley's response. “The answer is no.”

Rubin commented in the video about Haley not having a clear answer. Commentators stressed to Kelly that gender reassignment surgery does not change the patient's gender. (Related article: 'He's an asshole and hates Republicans': Megyn Kelly baffled by Don Lemon's return)

“If I were to cut off my wan wan while I was doing this live, that wouldn't make me a woman, and if I cut off the tissue from my arm and gave it to myself, that wouldn't make you a man. ” Rubin said. “Sorry, it's a little early. I've been under a lot of pressure over this caucus thing, but you know what I mean.”

“Oh my god, this is like an adult show. Party and caucus,” Kelly said with a laugh.
