WARNING: Horrifying Video Shows Moment Philly Man Thrown Onto Subway Track, Killed By Train

Horrifying video footage was released Thursday of the moment a man is pushed onto the tracks in front of an oncoming train in Philadelphia.

Video footage posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, shows two men getting into an argument on the 34th and Market Street subway platform in Philadelphia around 4:30 p.m. The man who would later be hit by a train is frequently seen raising his fist at a much smaller man pinned to a pillar.

It sounds like a small man is asking the other person for some sort of object, but the audio isn't completely clear. Police have not confirmed whether either man was armed at the time of the altercation.

As the subway approached, the man who was pinned against the wall punched the other man, causing him to fall to the ground and onto the tracks, where other passengers could be heard screaming as the train came at full speed. Within seconds, the train struck the man, who was later pronounced dead. (Related article: 'Brutal death': Police arrest man on suspicion of killing baby by throwing her against a wall)
