Victor Davis Hanson, a senior fellow at the Hoover Association, said on a podcast on Tuesday that he thinks Iran will kill Americans in retaliation for a US strike.
Concerns about possible retaliation against US soil began circulating online following the US strike at three Iranian nuclear weapons program sites on Saturday. Hanson told co-host Jack Fowler on The Victor Davis Hanson Show while debating Trump’s decision to fight back. “The question is, what will Iran do? It’s like the Strait of Hormuz, and the US Navy can handle the Strait of Hormuz. A terrorist enclave,” Hanson said. “If they kill, if there are – I hope that won’t happen, because if you have an Iranian terrorist who starts killing Americans in the US, you know what Trump is going to do.”

After the strike, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued He said there is no current “specific, reliable threat to the country,” but the “National Terrorism Advisory System Breaking News” will address “strengthening the threat environment.”
“It is our duty to keep our nation safe and informed, especially during times of conflict,” DHS Chief Christa Noem said in the release. “The ongoing Israeli-Iran conflict poses the possibility of an increased threat to the homeland in the form of possible cyberattacks, violence and anti-Semitic hate crimes.”
Two days after the strike, Iran retaliated by colliding with U.S. Air Force Base in Qatar.
By Monday evening, Trump announced in the true society that Israel and Iran had agreed to a ceasefire and ended the war that began on June 12th.
But by Tuesday, Israel had been fired after Iran reportedly launched missiles after the start of the ceasefire. While talking to reporters on the White House lawn, Trump called out to both countries and said he didn’t know “what they were doing.”
