Watters Claims Hunter Biden ‘Doesn’t Care’ and Identifies Which 2028 Candidate Lacks His Confidence

Hunter Biden’s Interview Raises Eyebrows

On Monday, Jesse Watters from Fox News remarked that Hunter Biden “doesn’t care” about the opinions of Democrats. This comment came after Hunter participated in a three-hour interview on Channel 5, where he shared insights about his father, former President Joe Biden, and his father’s impending 2024 presidential campaign. Watters, co-host of “The Five,” mentioned that Hunter’s assertion about Democratic experts abandoning Joe Biden after a poor debate performance in June 2024 was, “not wrong.”

Watters drew a historical parallel, saying, “When Roman emperors eliminated political rivals, they didn’t just go after the rivals; they took out the whole family. If Joe leaves Hunter alive, he will be looking for revenge.” He emphasized, “Hunter is very much alive. There’s no mistake about that.” He described Hunter as someone who is bold and unafraid, comparing him to a “left-wing Trump” in the way they intend to go after issues aggressively.

In the lead-up to Biden’s commentary on Donald Trump during the June 2024 debate, there was a notable shift among Democrats who had previously backed him for another term. Videos circulated online, portraying Biden as stumbling and making errors, which former White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre dismissed as “cheap fakes,” criticizing the Republican backlash.

Biden struggled to maintain his arguments against Trump during the debate, at one point appearing to freeze up. Shortly afterward, voices from within the Democratic Party and the media called for him to withdraw from the presidential race.

High-profile figures, including George Clooney, expressed concerns in the New York Times in July 2024, noting that many Democrat donors were withholding funds while Biden remained a candidate.

Watters suggested that Democrats are avoiding discussions about Biden and Hunter, saying, “They don’t want to see Joe. They don’t want to see Hunter.” He also asserted that Hunter is on a “revenge tour” unlike anything seen before. “His dad writes the book,” he stated, suggesting drastic actions might be necessary for the party moving forward.

Since Trump’s victory in November 2024, the Democratic Party has continued to face difficulties in unifying behind a single leader. Speculations about new potential candidates for the 2028 Democratic primary include names like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and former Transport Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
