‘We Could Work Together’: Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones Flirts With Potentially Bringing Bill Belichick To Dallas

Oh, I want to see the “Dallas Cowboys x Bill Belichick” circus…

Owner Jerry Jones dallas cowboys, ultimately decided to stick with head coach Mike McCarthy, at least through the 2024 campaign. But that doesn't mean he isn't looking at other head coaches.

When the Cowboys lost, 48-32, an NFC wild-card shock fest to eliminate the Green Bay Buccaneers from the NFL playoffs, McCarthy and Dallas had questions swirling about the skipper's future. Yes, they could have finished with 12 wins and 5 losses ( 3 consecutive seasons), won the NFC East Championship, but once again fell short of their hopes of winning the Super Bowl. However, despite all the speculation, Jones decided to continue dating McCarthy for at least another year.

The move from the Cowboys happened while Belichick was a free agent — and he still is. But just because he passed on a six-time Super Bowl champion this year doesn't mean Belichick won't be Dallas' head coach one day.

“I know him personally and I like him,” Jones said at the Senior Bowl. According to Yahoo Sports. “I have no doubt that we can work together. None. None.”

One of the most interesting things to ever happen in the world of sports has to be Bill Belichick becoming the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys…can you imagine the drama?
