Federal, Arizona, Pima County and Tucson government offices will be closed for President’s Day on Monday.
The city hall in the southern Arizona town, like all courts, is closed during the holidays.
When the US Federal Reserve is closed, nearly all banks and credit unions will close, not just locally, but nationwide.
Most businesses will continue to operate during normal business hours, including small businesses throughout town, large retailers, grocery stores like Walmart and Fries, and shopping malls.

Tucson residents will delay garbage collection by a day this week. All city-operated landfills and transfer stations will remain open, including Catalina Transfer Station, Ajo Landfill, Sawarita Transfer Station, and Ryan Fields Transfer Station. The City of Tucson also maintains the Los Reales Landfill on Cracroft Road south of Interstate 10.
The Pima County Public Library branch will be closed for the holiday.
Sun Tran and its services (including Sun Van and Sun Link trams) will operate on a normal weekday schedule.
The University of Arizona and Pima Community College will open Monday along with local school districts.
The automotive sector will be closed, but all emissions testing stations will remain open.
President’s Day also kicks off Rodeo Week in Tucson.of Tucson Rodeo Parade Beginning at 9am on Thursday, February 23rd, there will be pre-parade entertainment at the Rodeo Grounds at 8am.
