The administration on Friday suspended approvals for LNG export terminals as it expands the scope of the project's review to include economic and national security impacts as well as climate impacts. The move, a potential first step toward killing large export hubs like the Calcasieu Pass 2 (CP2) project in Louisiana, received near-universal praise from the environmental movement.
