Ah…Florida. A land of the free, a tropical setting, and a crocodile that will munch on you without hesitation.
In the Sunshine State, 1.3 million crocodiles As you probably guessed, they are found everywhere in states where water is present. And it just so happens that there are a lot of golf courses…that have running water. So you know what that means…
Golf course + lake and pond = alligator
And that formula produces so many grade-A stories. As you can see in this photo, an angry alligator (which was near a pond) chased several golfers in a golf cart. (Related article: Legendary fisherman reels in 560-pound great white shark after 'over an hour' battle with apex predator)
A video posted to Instagram by WINK News Chief Meteorologist Matt Devitt shows the alligator walking toward the pond. But along the way, a golf cart carrying two golfers passed by and, umm… well… my alligator friend didn't play like that.
As the golfers passed by, the alligator charged at them at high speed, ready to bite, but the golf cart quickly noticed and swerved around the reptile to avoid the worst. Ta. The crocodile then went back to work and quickly headed into the water.
Well, luckily we had a good ending. And we provided some great popcorn content for all the beautiful people out there.
