Woman Who Appears To Assault Los Angeles County Firefighter And Crash Into Cop Car In Video Arrested: REPORT

Police arrested a 36-year-old woman on Wednesday after she allegedly attacked a firefighter and crashed her vehicle into an undercover police car, City News Service reported.

In the video, Chavez appears to punch the firefighter multiple times through the car window.

“I work for the county,” she appears to say when she's not yelling expletives. “Hey, we're trying to help here,” a firefighter replies, opening the car door. The video then cuts to her car ramming into a police vehicle and a fire truck.

Between cuts to the footage, firefighters told Chavez they were calling police, and she got back in her car and drove around the block twice, according to City News Service.

“We were right in front of it, so we could see it all,” witness Frank Rojas told City News Service. “When she started to drive off, we just assumed she was going to drive off and that was the end of it,” he added. The witness said he thought a police chase might begin after the physical confrontation, but “we were shocked by the fact that she went back and still got hit by a car.”
