Work-Study Opportunities with Graham County Chamber of Commerce are open

The Graham County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the availability of dynamic work and study positions that invite students on a journey of exploration, relationship building and discovery. This unique opportunity allows aspiring individuals to interact closely with community leaders and respected business owners to discover the hidden gems that make Graham County an excellent destination for tourism.

The Graham County Chamber of Commerce seeks to welcome responsible individuals with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.

“This is an exciting position that gives students the opportunity to build relationships with community leaders and business owners. It also allows them to learn about all the great restaurants, hotels and attractions in Graham County,” says Graham County. Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Vance Bryce said.

Candidates for the office assistant position should have office experience scanning documents, shredding documents, and creating envelope labels for mailing. Such expertise ensures seamless administrative operations and supports the Chamber’s efforts in promoting local business and fostering a vibrant economic environment.

Selected students have the privilege of participating in and contributing to a variety of community events beyond administrative duties. Their customer service skills are honed while engaging with event attendees, ensuring a memorable experience and demonstrating the warmth and hospitality Graham County is known for.
