Yabapai County is proud to announce the 2024 Golden Plate Award winners, recognizing 253 food facilities that have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to food safety throughout the year.
These facilities go beyond food safety efforts. The Gold Plate Award is presented to food establishments that meet strict standards and demonstrates their commitment to safe food processing practices. This year’s awards are divided into two categories: moderate risk factors and complex risk factor facilities, reflecting the diverse range of Yabapai County’s food service operations. The public is invited to attend award presentations and celebrate the achievements of these exemplary food establishments.
To win this award, food facilities must meet three criteria:
- It operates throughout 2024 without prioritization or priority foundation food processing violations.
- Has approved and implemented food safety plans.
- Throughout the year, there are people who are responsible for approved current manager-level food safety certificates.
The 2024 Gold Plate Awards will be officially announced at the next two Yabapai County Board of Supervisors meetings.
- Prescott Presentation: March 5th, 2025, 9am, Boss Hearing Room, 1st floor, 1015 Fair Street.
- Cottonwood Presentation: March 19, 2025, 9am, Boss Hearing Room, 1st floor, 10th South 6th Avenue.
