
The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors, in collaboration with the Department of Public Works, is pleased to announce a community cleanup effort at Camp Verde.
The cleanup will take place at the Camp Verde transfer station located at 2600 Highway 260 East, 11 miles east of Interstate 17.
This cleanup will be held throughout Yavapai County from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, 31, and November 1 and 2, 2024. It will be conducted free of charge for residents.
Acceptable items: household appliances, bagged household waste, car batteries, tires, furniture, and garden decorations.
Unacceptable items: bulky garbage, liquids, hazardous materials, automobiles, nickel-cadmium batteries, dead animals.
Wildfires are never out of season. Now is the time to create defensible space around your home. Cut plants 5 to 30 feet from all structures. Remove all debris and dead plants from the roof, deck, and ground around your home. Be careful of sparks when cutting or trimming. All yard trimmings will be accepted at the time of cleaning.
This program is intended for residential use only. Commercial packages are not accepted.
