YAVAPAI COUNTY, Ariz. – Yavapai County has announced the appointment of Tyler Goodman as Deputy County Administrator, effective July 26, 2024. Goodman brings extensive experience from his tenure with the City of Prescott, where he has served in a variety of leadership roles since 2016, including interim mayor and deputy mayor.

Goodman joined the city in 2016 after completing a Church mission in Argentina and earning a degree in political science from Brigham Young University and one in public administration from Arizona State University. He is a member of the International Association of City and County Supervisors and the Arizona Association of City and County Supervisors.

“Tyler will be a great asset to our county just as he has been to our city. I am confident he will be an excellent leader and a great asset in continuing to move our county forward,” Yavapai County Mayor Maury Thompson said.
