On November 20, 2024, at the regular meeting of the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors, the Board voted to make the following appointments: Richard P. Twiss: New Constable of the Seligman Police Station in Yavapai Countyeffective November 20, 2024.
Mr. Twiss was appointed to replace Officer Luis Alvarez, who retired on October 31, 2024. The board was seeking letters of interest from interested candidates. Mr. Twiss and the other individuals submitted their letters by the deadline and met the statutory qualifications.
