Get some fun and patriotic preparations for the 4th of July in Yabapai County! This year, we will celebrate our country’s independence with a special salute to our local heroes. We are dedicated firefighters who work tirelessly to keep our community safe.
Within the beauty of our natural landscapes, it is important to remember that fire safety is a community effort.
In dry conditions, warm temperatures and refreshing breezes, fire restrictions are effective to protect forests and neighbours. All personal fireworks are strictly prohibited across the county. But don’t it moisten your celebration spirit! This is a great opportunity to have the experts handle the show and celebrate it with firefighters to enjoy a safe and epic holiday.

Jerome’s annual July 4th Parade: Head to the historic town of Jerome for their beloved annual parade! The Jerome Volunteer Fire Station is at the heart of this patriotic event, and they invite everyone to participate in the celebration. The parade begins at 10:30am, with participants gathering at the fire station cheering for the festival’s leading firefighters!
Prescott’s July 4th Fireworks: Prescott will host a breathtaking fireworks display on Lake Watson. The event is generally free and promises a day of family fun leading up to the main event. While you’re there, keep an eye on the local firefighters on hand to ensure a safe celebration for everyone.
Prescott Valley’s red, white, boom!:Prescott Valley pulls out all the stops of “Red, White, Boom!” Congratulations. The event will also feature professional fireworks shows, offering a safe and thrilling way to light up July 4th.
Prescott Firefighters Charity Horsekirt Race: Don’t miss out on the annual hosekirt race hosted by Prescott Firefighters’ charity for a truly unique and exciting experience. This lively competition is a great way to support local firefighters and enjoy good old fun.

- Beaver Creek Kiwanis Independence Day Celebration – On Friday, July 4th, the Beaver Creek Parade, led by American Legion Riders at Camp Verde Post 93, departs from the Sycamore Park area on Lake Montezuma at 9am and travels south along Montezuma Boulevard, passing through the former Lunch House Restaurant. Montezuma Avenue in this section will be closed to other traffic before 9am to 9:40am.
- Clarkdale Town Park and Main St. 7:00 – 11:00
- Peeples Valley: There is a community sponsored event at the Model Creek School Campus
- July 4th event in Wickenburg, Town, Sunset Park, 3020 W Wickenburgway, 6pm-10:00pm
- Sedona’s summer splash! July 4th, 2025, 2pm – 4pm Sedona Community Pool, 570 Posse Ground Road
- Cottonwood’s 26th Annual Fantastic Family July 4th! Inflatable wristbands are available for $10 each. Parking is $1 per vehicle. Fireworks will begin around 9pm. The address is 350 S. 12th Street, Cottonwood, Arizona.
