Calling all Yavapai County residents over the age of 18. Want to gain a deeper understanding of how local government works? The Yavapai County Civic Academy is your chance to learn firsthand.

Registration is now open!

This free, eight-week program will be held at 1015 Fair St. in Prescott every Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Sept. 19 through Nov. 7. Dinner is included.

What you get:

  • Get an inside look at Yavapai County government
  • Gain a clearer understanding of how County services impact your daily life
  • Opening communication channels with county leaders and other residents
  • Increased knowledge of the various county departments and their roles
  • Opportunities to ask questions and participate in collaborative learning (no political debates!)
