The Yavapai County Connection Center is the first of its kind in Arizona and is a breakthrough in helping individuals get out of prison and stay back. Located just steps away from the Yavapai County Jail, the Connection Center helps build a safer community.

Re-entry center

Reentry centers serve people who are being released from prison and reentering society by providing critical services for successful reintegration into society.

Through this center, people suffering from mental health and substance abuse disorders, as well as various socio-economic deficiencies, are directed to meaningful services and the root causes of their criminal behavior are fully and appropriately addressed. This process has a significant impact on reducing recidivism (or return to prison).

The re-entry portion of the center allows highly motivated community agencies to meet released residents on the spot and provide on-site intake, assessment, and other care management services to improve behavioral health, housing, employment, and transportation services. , and other needs.

The Connection Center also serves people who are in a mental health crisis and may be eligible for involuntary pre-arrest evaluation and treatment, removing this population from the criminal justice system. It will keep you away from it.

A 12-bed inpatient psychiatric unit allows for services for individuals who may enter the criminal justice system or be referred to local emergency departments.
