4th of July Celebrations in Yavapai County
Get ready for a fun and patriotic 4th of July in Yavapai County! This year, the celebration features a special tribute to our dedicated firefighters, who work hard to keep the community safe.
As we enjoy the beauty of our natural surroundings, it’s crucial to remember that fire safety is a collective responsibility. Due to dry conditions and warm temperatures, fire restrictions are in place to protect our forests and neighbors. All personal fireworks are banned throughout the county, but that shouldn’t dampen your festive spirit! Instead, this is a perfect chance to have the experts take care of the fireworks, ensuring a safe and enjoyable holiday.
Come join the festivities and meet the firefighters!
There are plenty of exciting family-friendly events scheduled across the county.
In Jerome, don’t miss the annual July 4th parade: Visit this historic town for their cherished parade! The Jerome Volunteer Fire Station plays a key role in this patriotic celebration, inviting everyone to join in. The parade kicks off at 10:30 am, with participants gathering at the fire station to cheer on the leading firefighters.
Over in Prescott, enjoy the stunning July 4th fireworks display on Lake Watson. This event is generally free and leads to a day full of family fun before the fireworks begin. Look out for local firefighters who will be present to ensure a safe experience for all.
Prescott Valley will feature its own “Red, White, & Boom!” event, pulling out all the stops for an exciting fireworks show that promises to light up the night.
