Effective Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 8:00 a.m., Yavapai County will lift Stage 1 fire restrictions due to recent and expected rain.
please note: Yavapai County public lands and Tonto National Forest managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will remain under Stage 1 fire restrictions. For more information on specific locations where Stage 1 fire restrictions are still in place, please visit:
Contact your local fire department before burning. Stage 1 fire restrictions have been lifted for unincorporated areas of Yavapai County, but local fire jurisdictions will also decide whether to lift restrictions.
said Yavapai County Emergency Manager Ashley Ahlquist. As we lift Stage 1 fire restrictions, we must remain vigilant and informed to protect our communities. ”
