Yavapai County Lifts Fire Restrictions

Effective Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 8:00 a.m., Yavapai County will lift Stage 1 fire restrictions due to recent and expected rain.

please note: Yavapai County public lands and Tonto National Forest managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will remain under Stage 1 fire restrictions. For more information on specific locations where Stage 1 fire restrictions are still in place, please visit:

Contact your local fire department before burning. Stage 1 fire restrictions have been lifted for unincorporated areas of Yavapai County, but local fire jurisdictions will also decide whether to lift restrictions.
